2048 on the Vita is waaay to different and the wide tracks gives me chills from the Fusion game.

WipEout HD is just the PSP games in better graphics controlwise. It just doesn't feel as tight, throwing on the airbrakes and sliding through corners etc. The PSP games hit the mark better, but aren't what 2097/3 are to control. I think the actual game structure and progress in WipEout 3 made it easier for newcomers and doesn't lock away a lot of the tracks from people who aren't as good to play it.Įverything after 2097/3 are not up to par imo. The design is brighter and more different from 2097. I think WipEout 3 was a gem too, the controls are the same as 2097, maybe a tiny more floaty and not as tight by a few inches as 2097, but still fantastic. I think the key here was that 2097 let the vehicle scrape the edges of the track a little, while the first game didn't differ from hitting the sides at various speeds, it just flipped you over and reduced your speed to a horrible stop.
